Turn down render distance to improve performance

Hi, i own a anarchy survival minecraft server on paper 1.12.2. The server is very laggy and i noticed that the render distance(10 chunks)is too high for this type of server.

It would nice if we had a option to turn down render distance to reduce lag and make TPS a little bit better. Example:

If you have 10 chunks as render distance, you can use a option to lower that distance to 5 chunks. And if you are already at 5 chunks you can change render distance up to 10.

Aternos will be much better if there's option to do that. I really hope that this will added soon.

No, the problem is that it's a ANARCHY server, the server has no rules. I started to test the performance, and running about 22 blocks per second(a pretty normal speed when traveling on a anarchy server) the tps dropped to 18. At this rate, with only 5 players doing the same, the TPS will drop to 10.

Yes, i know, aternos is not made for holding that type of server, but with lower render distance the performance will be way better. That's why im making this tread, with a option to low render distance, servers like my server will lag bit less and will be actually playable
