The world from Minecraft Java Edition and Bedrock Edition are not the same. But no one has ever done that before
-
I believe crossplay is on Mobile, Switch, Xbox One and PC (All Bedrock Editions)
PS4 can't crossplay but with Sony changing their stance PS4 could get it soon.
PC Java edition doesn't have it.
Legacy Consoles like PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U also don't have it.
-
crossplay between Java and Bedrock are possible as server hosting services such as, Minehut have created this system
-
1. they havent created it
2. it doesnt work that well
3. minehut's system is VERY different -

-
I've never seen any results that you can cross-play between Java and Bedrock in minehut, but Windows 10 and Bedrock is possible
-

That's why he said: "it doesnt work that well"
but Windows 10 and Bedrock is possible
Yes, because Windows 10 is bedrock.
You can't compare Minehut and Aternos. Both have a completely different system and setup.
While for Minehut it's probably really easy to provide that as they stick on one version and everything is running behind proxies our servers run independently.
The real problem is not that we don't support some such 3rd party software which try to allow bedrock and java players to play together.
The real problem is that there exist two versions in general.
-
I never think of comparing them, but there are players also claim Minehut can cross-play between versions, so they will think that aternos or other hosting minecraft services should be possible to do. This is the first time ever I've seen someone asked that
-
crossplaying between versions is possible with the viaversion, viabackwards and viarewind plugins tho... So that is possible, however that is unrelated to the question that was asked here.
Thanks Chosen for telling meh the correct name of viarewind ;3

What are you guys talking about? You guys can't just do anything you want
-
What..
-
If that message is not related then why post that for? Plus, it's like Mods are chatting together
-
I meant you starting about cross-playing on versions was unrelated.
I will close this thread now, as the question was answered and there's no need for a discussion.
