[REPOST: More 1.16 mods are becoming Fabric based, can you guys add it?]
[THIS IS NOT MINE]
Hello Roman, and the Aternos team!
As you may have heard, a new alternative to Minecraft Forge has surfaced recently, which allows mod developers to code their mods for Snapshot versions of Minecraft! This new modloader is called the Fabric loader, and it has been making the rounds very quickly!
The ultimate aim of Fabric is to enable developers to release their mods on the same day as official new versions of Minecraft come out, by making sense of the coding used in Minecraft Snapshots.
One of Fabric's flagship projects is Aether Legacy. The team has released two versions of the iconic mod for Fabric so far, and they plan to show their continued support for the API.
My personal suggestion, is that Aternos adds support for Fabric, and therefore, the mods it currently supports, in the very same way it supports Forge and its very own mods.
I hope my attempt to reach out for this project sees well to your staff, and you can best discuss if this is a desirable addition for your platform.
