i wonder if you could add a thing which will allow to reset caves as in minecraft in 8 months there will be a cave update coming soon it will be hard for players to find new places so better thing is to add a feature which allows you to reset caves

No. Just generate a new world, the generation is changed too much to make it easy to just regenerate the cave layers (for all I know)

Seeds, for all I know, are different every version.

1) Just from viewing this topic I know why you're banned on the Discord, without knowing your Discord username and looking up the actual reason
2) We'll add features when they are useful and necessary and remove features when they get unnecessary (e.g. erase cache feature). We'll see when MC 1.17 got released if we have to add a feature.
3) From past experience you only get the new generation features in new chunks. If you want to keep your buildings but want the new caves in the same chunks you have to switch the stuff e.g. with WorldEdit. Or you just delete the chunks which don't have any building.
