I have a suggestion for aternos servers, In Options Manu we should get a new configurable property that's View Distance . Like we should be able to limit player's max render distance by default it's 8 chunks on aternos, i say we should be able to make it even lower. 8 chunks can be the max limit. This will help reduce a bit of lag especially when there's a lot of player activity in the server. Thanks.

You could use a Plugin or Mod, but it is a good idea.
Totally not helpful... you can't change server view distance using plugins or mods

If you are on vanilla, install Paper/Bukkit from the softwares tab. It will give you increased performance, increased render range as well as access to plugins. And remember, always do backups before such an operation
