I am thinking about making an aternos server to serve as a lobby for aternos. Players could come to the lobby and advertise for their aternos servers. I think aternos has been behind minehut for far too long. This needs to happen. It would be better if there were official aternos lobbies but I think my proposal will do fine. I would like community input on how I should best do this and also if I even should do this. It would be nice if aternos spoofed your ip as well to avoid ip grabbers.

I could certainly make any kind of server. Do you think I should make an aternos lobby? I think aternos should make its own lobby but I'll make one just to flip minehut the bird.

- Allowing people to play on different versions
- installing different types of software
- custom modding, modpacks
etc.
are just a few things that are much harder to implement or are not possible at all.
We don't need to clone Minehut's concept. We have our own. And stealing our or Minehut's ideas is already done by others. So we don't have to beat each other up.
It's up to the user to find out what they need, what they don't need - what they like, what they don't like and what host they choose based on that.

I agree with both of you guys aternos is bigger than minehut but having some kind of lobby would be beneficial like for example opening your server without having to open it on the website and advertising you aternos server or finding friends would also be beneficial but I get what my mean different versions I think the aternos lobby should be from latest version to 1.7 because who in aternos uses aternos servers on Minecraft version 1.0 the lobby doesn't need to have different Minecraft software versions just be vanilla now the custom modding and modpacks I wouldn't worry about that and people when they mod on servers don't there work on forge fabric loaders. Well anyways I think an aternos lobby could be highly likely but if it doesn't happen then the aternos community can make it and the lobbys has to be cracked.

A lobby that allows communication requires moderation. It's already hard on Discord to monitor everything 24/7, thanks to our moderator team that works pretty well on Discordas they do a really good job here.
But doing this on a lobby server that has probably much more interaction than our Discord is just not doable for us. We could just search for more moderators, but we don't want to as we want good ones. In addition, a larger moderator team requires more attention from our side, which we don't currently have the resources for.

You don't care about them, but we do. And that's also the reason why they use us.

That's also a topic that makes that whole lobby thing pretty critical. Especially in terms of moderation.
