Kann 1.9 servern nicht joinen

Ich kann meinem Server auf 1.9 nicht joinen, da steht immer Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.DecoverException: Badly compressed packet - size of 2 is below server threshold of 256

richtige Version, keine Plugins, keine Mods, Alternative Id probiert, geht nicht, server läuft mit richtigen einstellungen, ist auch nur eine Welt, bleibt aber auch manchmal im "Landschaft wird heruntergeladen" bildschirm hängen
