In the Files and Plugin section, there are versions that do not show up in Spigot and CraftBukkit such as 1.7.9 RO 2 and 1.8.1. Can you use 1.7.9 RO 2 plug-ins with 1.7.9 RO 3?

Yes, the important parts are just the first two numbers for example 1.8 and 1.9. Everything after that often times is not relevant (but not everytime, there are a few exceptions).

You will just need to find exceptions for yourself. So just test all your plugins before you put a lot of playtime on your server incase something doesn't work.
