I am an OP and commands using /, such as /help and /gamemode aren't working. Text remains in red. It's a 1.17 server.
I started the world as cracked enabled because no clue what the heck it meant, then switched it to off when we figured out it disables skins. Not sure if this is a factor. And yes, I've started, stopped, restarted, etc server and still can't use commands.
Switching the world to creative via options doesn't seem to work, either.

When you run a command, does it do nothing? Or does it say you don't have permission?
And cracked means people who use TLauncher or cracked Minecraft (free minecraft) can join.
Use 'SkinsRestorer' to enable skins on Cracked mode, but it is highly recommended you keep it off if your friends bought the game.

Hmm..
Can you go to https://aternos.org/players and go into 'OPs' and see if you're in that list?
Make sure to do it when the server is online. If you aren't in the list, then add your name.If it still doesn't work, then it could be a problem with 1.17 (a bug?)

Already did this, and it both shows me online and as an OP. I'll just consider it a bug, then. No creative mode to restore lost gear, then. lol Small price to pay, I suppose.
Thank you for attempting to help. -

Thank you for attempting to help. That is not the right command... In 1.13 and above, you are supposed to type "/gamemode creative",
not "/gamemode 1"
