Can't place beds and signs

I'm not sure if I put this question in the right area, this is my first thread. Please forgive me if I have put this thread somewhere incorrect . So my friends and I started an Aternos server today (1.17.1, Spigot/Bukkit, Skript with one skript I can post here if you wish) sort of like 3rd Life if you have seen that MC series on YouTube. Although, for some reason we cannot place beds and/or signs on the server. Does anybody know why this is so ? We are really confused and it's quite annoying not being able to sleep and write signs. There has also been a significant amount of lag, but I'm not sure if that has to do with anything... Please help if you can!

I'll make sure to try this, but we will need to keep the plugins. Is there a reason/something we could do without deleting plugins to fix this ?
