I've been dealing i with time wasting from downloading at least 60-70 mods for two hours and i would see it not being added since its a quite advanced thing but maybe it could work by scanning your third party launchers mods and downloading the latest? 
This is the most stupid request but its more of a question if its possible in any way.
What exactly are you talking about?
Things like dropping a file, the server reading and finding any possible version of it.

I think he mean , you download every mods files you want on your computer ,but on Aternos we need to search , found the good one then click download to dowload it on your servers ,so I think he want so you can drag your mods files in a scanner so it can scan your mods and dowload every mods ,with the official page already on Aternos in the mods section .It will not take your files ,because you cant drag them in the mod folder, but it will download your files from the offical page where it is posted ,so the user dont need to search for every mods he have. I dont know if im really clear but i think I am .
