Furnace and grain do not grow with the server offline

As i said in the title, the thing like the furnace, tree ecc.. doen't progress while the server is offline.

Is that normal, if not can i activate sometghing to solve the problem?

Ok and why it's normal? If i play a world offline, it progress when my PC is switched off. I think it works with timestamp.

There is no an option for activate this?

When your server turns off, it's not running anymore. It's not doing anything therefore nothing will happen on it.

Single player works pretty much the same, as soon as you close the game you won't make any progress.
