I tried to rename my server world and it created a new world and automatically switched to that world. I want to switch back to my old world but i don't know how to, nor do i know how to upload the old world file to the new world that was created.

NEVER rename your world unless absolutely necessary. Rename the world you renamed back to world and delete the new one.

it's not giving me the option to delete the new one
Change your world name back in server.properties first, then delete the new world in the worlds section.
