    please add a setting to disable the auto update in modpacks. some update may break some stuff and i didnt prepare to before, also its annoying to keep updating my pack

    It's not viable to offer every single version of each modpack, hence why they're automatically updated to just use the latest. If there are real confirmed issues with the current present version on Aternos then you can (probably) request for a downgrade.

    why not when you download the pack, it doesnt change the version? like it would stay like it was without updating like it was previously

    The reason for the auto-update is the underlying system on how Aternos handles server-data. We don't store server files and modpack files individually for each server.


    Allowing different versions for packs would require a whole rewrite of our modpack system. This is on the agenda but because it requires a very high effort with a rather low benefit it's not a particularly high priority. It's more like "We should do this when we have time."
