Nope. The last version of essentials is, as listed in our Plugin-Browser, 1.7.10 .
After a plugin author released a new version it is automatically added to our system. -

In this case your Essentials version is not compatible with your currently installed CraftBukkit or Spigot version.

Use EssentialsX its the same thing but for 1.8 with all the features
