Failed to synchronize registry data from server

So I wanted to make a silly forge server with my friends, and the mods worked just fine for me and I managed to join the server. Problem is, the other 2 friends can't join the server, and get the error "Failed to synchronize registry data", I gave them my mods folder via google drive, and I made sure there were no other files interfering, and still nothing worked. I also noticed that it's inconsistent, sometimes I can join and other times I can't.
