modded server does not start

I have a largely modded server that i am trying to play with my friend, but it will not start whatsoever. I am trying to decipher the error logs and it says something to do with paintings and resource packs as a fatal error? could be something completely different however

here is my error log:

so what do i do about that? just remove some mods? it's mostly the mods from the better minecraft modpack, just with additions and some removal of mods

okay thank you. is there a threshold of amount of mods i should have or does it depend on what mods?

switched over to forge instead of mohist because im not using any addons and it seems to be working

it is now working, except some mods have certain things messed up about them. i remove them from both client side and server side, and it still says i need to remove from client side in the actual minecraft game?

yes, and now my game won't start from the launcher at all
