if the version dosent these it will be fine

bassicly if you upgrade 1.18 to 1.19 it will reset because of new structures
as long as the update is commands or bug fixes or something that hasent have to be something that has a new generation or worlds

It is to downgrade the version
You can download the world, change version and upload the world back. Make a backup beforehand because it can cause your world to corrupt as downgrading is not supported by Mojang.
