Server is Unplayable

    Aternos updated our server software from 1.19.2 to 22w42a and now the server won't start because the mods haven't been updated to this version yet and it keeps crashing. I tried reinstalling 1.19.2 but it automatically updates back to 22w42a. Is there some setting to force Aternos not to update the server software? I don't want my server to be unusable for possibly weeks waiting on mods that may never be updated.

    This is happening to me and I believe I figured out the issue. I wish it was more clear when you installed software but some of the software installations have an icon showing they will automatically update. If you don't want them to automatically update you have to install the software that doesn't have the arrow icon. To fix your situation you could try downloading the world file and installing the 1.19.2 software without the arrow icon then upload the world file. Hopefully that will keep all server info. However, I haven't tried this yet. I'm going to test if it works and I can update you if it does!

    Please do! My friends and I have already made huge progress on our world and I would be devastated if I had to tell them we lost all of it because I made a mistake before the server even went up!

    So Update - I couldnt use a back up and when I tried to upload the world it didn't really work for me. I seem to have messed up some of the mods versions or something. I really can't tell what I did wrong. However, If you have a small amount of mods and don't mess up the versions I think it would work. I just couldn't get it to on my end :/

    I did actually have success with this, sorry for not updating! What I did was go to "Worlds", download the world, change the server version and then upload the world, readd the mods, and redo the whitelist of players. Then I was able to get the server up and play again. My friend did lose their JourneyMap progress and there was a little bit of world progress lost but otherwise everything is good now. : D
