  • Hello! I am just wondering if there is any way to set up a CNAME record to my server.

    I've seen this solution:

You would have to register your own domain and set a CNAME record pointing to your Aternos IP address.

which did not work as when I tried use CNAME, the domain would fallback to regular aternos.org mainpage.
    I've also seen this solution:

Try the dynamic IP address if the regular IP address does not work.

which works, but incredibly inconvenient and time-wasting process as I have to change the alias of CNAME record every time I reset the server. (I tried digging the DNS record to find a way around, but figured that it would be impossible as Dyn IPs have different IP address assigned and the process of choosing one of those IPs is completely random...?)

MC client does not support 301 and 302 HTTP redirection code, so there is no way to properly lock up my custom domain to target my Aternos server.

Is there any other way to achieve stable custom domains?
