Hi everyone,
Our server of two people (using a custom modpack) has never run into any issues until yesterday. Yesterday my friend used the /kill command because he wanted to remove a curse, but his game froze after he died and he couldn't respawn. After that, he would get stuck on the "Joining world" screen when trying to rejoin the server.
Now when we try to rejoin the server either 1) we both get stuck on the "Joining world" screen (and on Aternos it says we are both online) or 2) it lets me log in, but my game will freeze and we both get kicked from the server.
We tried to search for a solution and have tried many things - we double checked that he wasn't missing any mods or had outdated mods, we checked the server logs and crash logs folder but there were no recent files about server crashes. We tried deleting his player data file and it let him rejoin, but we both got kicked shortly after and got stuck on the "Joining world" screen. We tried to download a copy of our world and delete some chunks, but he still gets stuck on "Joining world".
Does anyone have an idea of what the problem could be? Any help is much appreciated! Thank you in advance
