when i updated my 1.11.2 server to 1.12 it got rid of m main world
yes i used theb back up didnt work

You can alternatively try to upload an old save of your world you hopefully have downloaded before. It's important to regularly download and save the world to prevent such losses.

@NeonPlus Did you check our world upload tutorial yet? Mind that you can't upload worlds larger than 200 Megabytes.

bro if your planning on makin a server for online just quit when you upload it on some pages so your server can get more popular they don't give the port to put server and you cant use store plugins

1 GB is way too large. Live console output is shown while your server is online.
