I need help updating my server

    Hello there, I updated my Spigot server from 1.13.2 to 1.14.2

    Now in aternos.org/worlds I have two options:

    1. Force upgrade

    2. Erase cache

    What do these options mean? What are their purpose? How they work? Should I activate those two options before starting my server after the update?

    If you run a world generated in a older minecraft version on a newer minecraft server the chunks get updated to the new format when get loaded for the first time on the new version. This option converts all chunks to the new version directly after starting

    There was a lightning bug in 1.14.1, with this option it is possible to erase the lightcache. It's not needed for 1,14,2.
