is the book dupe (also known as the chunk dupe) patched in version 1.14.2?

    I have a small survival world that I play on with one of my best friends.
    I decided that we should make a dupe station. But thing is, it doesn't work.
    Is it patched and can you disable the patch?

    EDIT: I believe that setting the server to Cracked might fix it, but not sure.
