Modded server portal bug

When i enter a portal to another dimension, i appear in the same coords. For example when i entered a nether portal in X 50 Y11 Z50 In the overworld, i appear in the same coords so i get killed of suffocation inside netherrack (also when for example i exit the aether by falling all the way down, i appear under the overworld’s bedrock and not in the sky how it should be) i don’t know if it is because the server needs more ram (in that case i should pay for hosting) or if it’s my pc that’s lagging
