What I am suggesting is rather basic: add the ability to edit files and folders outside of the plugins folder on servers that have plugins. This is because a few major plugins, such as Movecraft and Coreprotect, not to mention the permissions.yml file, require you to edit a file or create new ones outside of the plugins folder. Thank you.

No one really uses the internal permission system of bukkit. Use a permissions plugin

They require you to edit folders in the main server folder itself (The one where the server.jar file is located) rather than in the plugins folder. For Movecraft, a folder is generated in the server folder that you have to create .craft files in order for the movecraft plugin to work properly, otherwise it is just a useless lag factory.
