skript version 2.1.2? newest version?
what i wanna say is, please update skript soo its available on 1.15.2 or let me put files in the plugin files.
this is really a big shame, soo please fix it. i cant make a server like this.
newest version is 2.5 btw 2.1.2 is from 2014

We can't add the new versions because they are on GitHub, which we can't use to add plugins / mods

We can't use GitHub to add plugins because it doesn't have the necessary requirements regarding e.g. version querying, dependencies etc. (we can't get those over github) Sites like SpigotMC and bukkit have those infos, and thus we can do that. Also, calculate 500 / 21000000 to see how much we would lose. It's not really anything

if aternos got 21000000 then i dont really think it only would be 500 players/servers that quit. it would more be like 1000000, i did'nt tought that aternos had that much players without skript.
this is just a shame but i understand why you wont add this and lose much players.
Skript has been outdated on Spigot since 2014, so I don't know what you mean with "you will lose customers", as it's outdated already for years. There's no "you will" anymore.
btw can i ask how minehut can have skript for 1.15.2 and always got the new version of everything and how you dont got it? what got minehut more than aternos?

There's a workaround for this though. You can install this plugin: https://aternos.org/addons/a/spigot/68465 which for some reason their author left inside a copy of the Skript plugin. So when you download it, Skript gets downloaded too. Just remember to delete everything you might not need except Skript.jar.
