When I try to make XP farms or auto-smelting systems on my server, the items stay back in the hoppers and don't enter into the furnaces. However, I can pull items out just fine. I encountered the same problem with composters and wondered if it was because of some advanced settings that I had to toggle. My server has no plugins or mods installed.
