TLDR: Skript is a plugin that allows us to write our own plugins. It should be one of the few exceptions to add this even though it is on GitHub and not Spigot or Bukkit.
I know this is talked about in previous posts, but updating Skript is more important now. I understand that you have to automatically maintain plugins through API's but Skript should be an exception that should be handled manually. Aternos is one of the biggest server hosting platforms and if we cannot write our own plugins we should at least be given access to plugins that allow us to make our own safe plugins. The version used right now is the blatant copy and long discontinued Bukkit version. This lacks many prime features and is very buggy. Along with that, vast majority of players are not willing to play on 1.7 anymore with more and more updates from Mojang. Other plugins such as Geyser have had such an exception despite them being arguably less important. Thanks in advance.
