Cracked server starts with creative mode

Hi, I made a cracked server so I can play with my friend that only has a cracked version of Minecraft, but I have a problem. When I join the server, it starts as creative mode and I can't change it to survival mode. I checked the settings of the server but I couldn't fix the problem. It starts in survival mode when I make the server premium. Sorry if there were a lot of questions like this already in the past but I can't find the "search" button in this Forum. So if somebody knows a solution, please tell me.

(Also, when I join a server, my skin becomes the default one but I know that there's really no way to fix that)

I uploaded the world with the seed I wanted, that I made in singleplayer mode, and it became survival mode from the start this time. Well, I think the problem is solved, but thanks for your reply too! =D Now I finally can play Minecraft with my friend.
