I'm just wondering if and or how I can upload custom plugins that I can't get in the list but can download into the server plugin folder.

You can suggest bukkit or spigot plugins but custom arent allowed.

Then you can't, unless you upload it on dev.bukkit.org or spigot and make it public. then you can suggest here in the forum to add this plugin and then it may be added.
But custom plugins are a security risk for aternos, because you could code something which kind of "hacks" the aternos system...

I have also wanted to upload the Schematica Plugin, because I have the Badlion Client that has schematica built into it, but on the badlion forums it said that the server owner needs to allow / have the Badlion Schematica Plugin installed into the server for it to work.
