Can i host a server 8-15 player with mods?

Hi, currently i have 29-ish mods on the server (Forge 36.1.0, 1.16.5) but I play with only 1 player for now (no problem so far).

Say i host a SMP with a target of 8-15 players, will it work with minimal lag? Like i know there will be lag but will it be unplayable?

Also i might reduce the number of mods if needed
