Java.net.socketexeptoin: Connection reset

So me and my friend were going to play on my server. When I joined it spawned me with nothing in my inventory then I fell out of the world and a error popped up saying Java.net.socketexeptoin: Connection reset. So I thought it might just be me but when my friend joined it did the same thing to them. So I went to aternos and looked up what to do and it said to delete player data and so I did and it still did the same thing. I have tried deleting the whole server and making a new one and I tryed restarting/stoping the server multiple times and it still doesn't work.
