command block and /spawn help please

    hello everyone i am looking to see if anyone can help me and a friend make the /spawn command work on the server so when we put in /spawn it takes us to certain coordinates like other servers. if anyone can help please reply.


    and when trying to find the command blocks as a alternative for not finding how to activate /spawn we could not find the command blocks either if you know what is going please reply and help us.

    Please install the "Essentials"-Plugin on your server, otherwise you can't use commands like "/spawn". (Please also install a plugin-compatible minecraft server like "Craftbukkit" or "Spigot" on you server when you do that.)
    Also, you can't find command blocks in the normal creative interface.
    If you want a command block, please execute "/give [Your Player Name] command_block" ingame (you have to be op to give yourself a command block and to edit it).
