about world generation datapacks

ok so i was thinking of making a server using the terralith datapack, the problem is with what i've seen i need to log into the world in order to actually load the datapack, but i'm worried that will mess up the datapack. Am i missing something? Is there another way to do this or have i just not done enough research?
