I was sorting through my newly updated 1.17 server and I noticed that the option for the Java 16 JRE OpenJ9 VM isn't there.
I feel like it could help a lot of servers if JRE (Not JDK) OpenJ9 was to be included.

In the case of just running an application there's no real difference between both. Aternos runs JRE by default.
In general we support Java 16 already, but we tested each software with each java implementation and some software's didn't work with Java16 / OpenJ9 - therefore a specific version/implementation combination might not be available for the software you have installed.
We'll look into adding Java 16 OpenJ9 for server software that supports it.
