Hello, id like to play the latest pre release and then once 1.18 drops, ill change my server to that. how should i go about this process? i dont want to lose my data. im currently on 1.17.1 if that helps

You shouldn't loose your stuff if you switch to the snapshots and can you tell which server software do yo use

yes, i use vanilla.
ok so you should not face any issue while switching to the snapshot but keep a backup incase you face any issue
