Hi!
Is it normal that with 1.18 the chunk loading in my server is very low? I mean, I am used to have around 24 of render distance, but now I feel I can see no more than 12. Is it because of the new chunk size and the RAM of the servers?

This is also happening to me I don’t know why honestly if anyone knows please tell me how to fix or if there’s just an issue that’s not on my part.
Render distance did not change.
It's just Minecraft that introduced that fog in 1.18. You can increase the view distance in the server.properties on the files page a bit
Hi i have the same problem, i was playing in my world 1.18 hosted with aternos but i feel like i dont see more than 10 and i see kind of fog. This doesn't happened to me in my 1.16 world (hosted by aternos too) for example the fog case please help me to configurate render settings i want to play the new version.
EDIT: I forgot to say that when i host singleplayer world this fog doesnt ever exist so i think it only appears when i host world with aternos please help me
