Hello, me and my friends have been playing on 1.16.5. aternos server and recently they added the new 1.18 update caves and cliffs. We chaned it to 1.18 version and every mob nearby our base dissapeared and the CLIFFS didnt change. The caves changed but the cliffs are the same as in version 1.16.5.
Does anyone know the the fix

But the thing is, a lot of chunks are loaded. I dont know what to do. Ive been flying in creative mode for like 10 min and the chunks are still the same with the 1.17 mountains and caves not 1.18. We have been playing that server for like a month.

You could try to download the world and delete unused chunks using a 3rd party tool like MCA selector
