I started an origins smp, and i asked my friends "do you want 1.15, 1.16, 1.17, or 1.18?" they said 1.18, and i realised that fabric 1.18 does not support skins, it felt kinda uncomfortable to play without skins, so i tried doing stuff, i first saw this tutorial where you go to the "Tlauncheradditional" json file and you set "skinversion false" to "skinversion true", i did this, but to no avail, i tried using skinrestorer, but i could only set my skin, my friends could see it, but they couldn't set their skin,
The server uses fabric, im only changing the software version, not the entire software, and i saw a thread where it says "if the software is not compatible with the new world, it will not work", but what does that mean? what incompatibility?
