mismatched mod channel list error with Optifine

    Hello! So I feel a bit silly asking but I recently started working on a project with some friends via an aternos server (forge, so we can use worldedit). But I'm having a very frustrating issue where I can't log in on my launcher that has optifine because it says 'mismatched mod channel list' if I have it. Even if every other mod matches clientside.


    Did I set up my server wrong? I have friends with aternos forge servers that I can log in just fine with optifine in my mod list. This seems to just be an issue with mine.

    Share your client log

    1. open your minecraft installation path

    (enter %appdata%/.minecraft in the file explorer )

    2. open the logs folder

    3. open the "latest" or "latest.log" file with a text editor

    4. copy and paste the content of the file to https://mclo.gs/

    5. send the link here

    I'm gonna be real with you, I went to open my forge install and replicate the issue because i've been playing on it on an unmodded load because it was letting me in on non-forge launches.


    And then when I tried to use forge it immediately let me in with no issue, optifine fully loaded. I have no clue what just happened but thank you for trying to help! Problem solved, I appreciate you taking the time out of your day to try to assist!
