Ever since my friends entered the Nether, the server's RAM usage has been nearly full, it is causing lots of lag. I do not know a way to fix this other than removing some mods or making a new world.
I have seen some other threads about RAM, I know that you can't get more. However, is there any way I can lower RAM usage?
some server details:
Software: Fabric modloader 0.13.3 for Minecraft version 1.18.1
Mods amount: 22
More RAM?

Software: Fabric modloader 0.13.3 for Minecraft version 1.18.1
Mods amount: 22There are many ways you can reduce your server metaspace
Some of few are as mentioned-> try to reduce entities spawn limit,
View distance, tickspeed , try to delete regions that were not use , keep the world in optimize mode to delete unused chunks if your server is above 1.13 + Dont use mismatched mods , plugins or datapacks and more reasons....
By default aternos provides users only up to 4GB ram as a free service , if you reach that limit you will be no longer able to start your server.
And if you want a best experience with more ram, gameplay with more mods plugins or datapacks then you can try out the paid service-> https://exaroton.com/:en/
Thanks

By default aternos provides users only up to 4GB ram as a free service
You mix up storage size and RAM
storage size = 4 GB hard limit
RAM = depends on installed software, displayed on the server page.
if you reach that limit you will be no longer able to start your server.
Only applies to storage limit.
To reach the RAM limit your server must be already running, since a stopped server does not consume RAM at all.
