Server Lag

    How are you community?

    My problem is the following:

    I have a server (Forge - 1.16.5) with mods, I play it with 2 more friends and the problem is that I don't know why but only I have a bad connection with the server even though in other games I do have a good connection.

    Sometimes in the server console I get that the server is with 2000ms or more.

    I hope you can help me.

    Mi problema es el siguiente:

    Tengo un server (Forge - 1.16.5) con mods, lo juego con 2 amigos más y el problema es que no sé porque pero solo yo tengo mala conexión con el servidor a pesar de que en otros juegos si tengo buena conexión.

    A veces en la consola del servidor me sale que el servidor esta con 2000ms a mas.

    I am located in Peru, my friends are too and we have the same internet distributor but only I have lag.

    All servers are located in central europe, If you're located far away from europe then that's most likely why you have high ping. Especially when a lot of users in your country uses the internet at the same time. Your internet provider will most likely send traffic to europe via a different route/road than someone with a different internet provider will, even in the same country. One can be congested, much like a traffic jam, causing every packet of data to move slower. There is not really a fix for this, except complaining to your internet provider, or switching internet provider.
