I've made a vanilla server with paperMC plugins and everything went fine for a week, but recently one of my friend realised that some of his chuncks keep reseting to an older save after some ingame days. The builds and items in chests reset just for him, but recently another friend had the same problem when building an exp farm in the end. I tried searching the internet for any possible solutins but no help. If anyone has an idea of how to fix this glitch please help.

It's a known bug in Paper.
Might be fixed in the latest version.

We update Paper automatically.
So you only need to check if you still have this issue now.
