Server won't restore backup

Check the date of the last backup. Does it even include the save of the world you want to have?

I've got the same issue
i've tried multiple times to restore the backup, but every time i join my server, nothing has changed
i checked the date en it's right, it also confirms every time the backup is restored, but it isn't
is there a way to download the backup?

It's not possible to download backups. If the backup doesn't change anything it means the backup has been created after changes were made already.

but the date of the backup is Jul 17th 2017 at 10:00am, so thats the backup i need

If the backup doesn't work instead you can try to upload a save of your world you hopefully downloaded before. It's important to regularly download and save the world to prevent such losses.

I don't know, this can have a lot of reasons. It's not a general problem though as you're the only one reporting this problem currently.

and is it possible that you or another developper can look into my account to download the backup or to see whats wrong? (my aternos account is also stebo02)
