  • Hello,

I've got a problem with the spawning of hostile and passive Mobs. During night or at dark places no hostile mobs spawn, Spawners however do spawn hostile mobs. So I tried to switch to peaceful and then back to normal to delete all hostile mobs that could count towards the mob cap but it didn't work. I got a villager breeder with about 100 Villagers but they normally don't count towards the mob cap (tested it in Singleplayer). So how do I get hostile mobs to spawn again, or is there a "special" mob cap for Aternos Server that counts like all mobs for one mob cap? (I play on the vanilla Minecraft Version 1.12.2) Passive mobs like Sheeps/Cows etc. won't spawn naturally too.

I would be thankful for any help :)

Changed the title of the thread from “Hostile Mobs won't spawn. Is there a "special" mob cap for Aternos?” to “Hostile and pasive Mobs won't spawn. Is there a "special" mob cap for Aternos?”.
  • I totally forgot about the gamerules x) didn't use them lately. My mates actually set the domobspawning to false to get rid of the hostile mobs ...

Thanks for helping me out :D
