so today i just created an account. so when i came onto the server everything worked fine for me, i even opped myself. so then i told my friend to join and he said yeah sure but when he tried he said that there was an error message saying "server offline." i knew it was online cause i was in it. please help

Check that the server ip he's trying to connect to is correct
He could also try to use the dyn ip.

If your friend gets the message in the screenshot above one of the following things is the cause:
- The server is offline on Aternos Website
- The IP he entered on his client is not correct
If the normal IP is not working he could try to use the DynIP, this one must work.
