Importing Schematics

My server map is above 200Mb so I cannot use Mcedit to import schematics into my server's map, because I won't be able to upload it anyway.

Neither can I import schematics in the world edit folder schematics in my plugin folder. I found out that this isn't possible (yet?). I hope this will be implemented in the future.

Does anyone know a way to import Schematics into a large world? or how to make my server's map smaller than 200Mb so I can just use Mcedit again?

Thanks! I didn't know Mcedit could do that. I'll look up a tutorial on how to do that.

Will shrinking my world damage any of my buildings?

Edit: I've looked around on YouTube and can't find a tutorial on how to shrink my worlds. Could you tell me what I need to do to shrink it?
