    Hello there Aternos Staff,


    I've been playing on a Vanilla server with the 1.8.8 version though today decided to change it to the 1.9 and 1.12.2 versions to check them out. When i first changed from the 1.8.8 to the 1.9 version, i looked inside my Chests/Furnaces and things were all there so no worries there. Afterwards, i changed from the 1.9 to the 1.12.2 version and items were all there aswell. Lastly, i changed from the 1.12.2 to the 1.8.8 version and that's when things got creepy since all my chests and furnaces were there but no items in it, basically the whole tunnels, farms and buildings i did with my friends were still there but no items within the "storage" blocks (chests, furnaces, etc). First thing i did after this was to check the console for any errors and it showed me this:




    As a last detail i forgot to mention, i had signs placed with written things on them and that was lost too, meaning the signs were still there but NOTHING written on them...


    Now, is this an issue with a solution or there's no way i can see my items back?

    If you switch to a newer minecraft version minecraft automatically converts the world to the new format. However if you switch back to an old version minecraft can not convert your world back.


    You have to deal with that problem and give yourself the items back with /give or you restore a backup if you have one.
