Server stops randomly without error messages

Hi! I have a server with Forge and some mods. The problem is that the server randomly stops without any clear reason, and has sometimes lag spikes, especially if one of us is exploring new areas. The latter is probably normal and inevitable, but where does the random stopping come from?

There are some error messages when the server starts, but I suspect that these are normal and caused by the Pam's Harvestcraft mod, which overrides some Vanilla foods.

Oh and my username is the same as the server has, Zerahar.

I tried the mod CustomNPCs at one point, but deleted it afterwards as it was too complicated. Could this have something to do with the problems? I have also encountered problems with Thaumcraft, and those problems have something to do with the current world/mod setup, as they cannot be reproduced by the mod developers.

Through some testing I discovered that the world save has problems with the Thaumcraft mod only when playing on the server. When I downloaded the world and opened it in single player, everything worked just fine. What could cause this?
